3-Find out your child’s interests and choose books that are related to those interests.
4-Swap good books with friends who have similar interests and reading levels
5-Read fun books out loud together
6-Read the good books over and over and over again.
7-Use book lists from literacy organizations (see below)
8-Read Aloud no matter how old you are.
9-Try lots of different authors and genres
10-Have Fun! Show your children that reading can be fun. You’ll open up a whole new world for your child to explore.
